what i did on vacation today!

a cool, crisp september wind...

announces

labor day

and a hot sun burns
as summer kisses me

and gently takes its leave

all my friends
the laughing gulls

gather round me on the shore ...

this little guy hung out with me on the shore all day today ...

sometimes he looked at his feet ...

he walked up very close to me to see what i was doing

what i did on vacation today!

i sat on my rooftop ...

and looked at the sun shining on the chrysler building ...

i welcomed myself back to the city and promised myself i'd spring clean ready for the winter! :)
